Project |01 Parakeet Feet Final Activity Report

For my senior capstone class, Public Relations Lab, we received a local client and had to create a final activity report to promote their business. I chose the company Parakeet Feet, a local children's shoe store and created this final report with my group members.

During my sophomore year I had to create a PR Proposal for a Hungarian jewelry company. Their biggest goal of our plan was to create more brand awareness in the United States, as they are a foreign company.

As a junior, I took Writing for Public Relations and was able to create numerous samples of press kit materials and so forth. I've listed four examples here. These examples include a backgrounder, two news releases and a fact sheet.

As a junior, I submitted an Op-Ed piece I wrote for a sociology class, called Work and Family, to the News Times (a Connecticut Newspaper). The publication picked up the piece in May of 2013.

Project |03 Life Savers Strategic Communication Plan Book
​
During my sophomore year my team created a strategic communication plan book for Life Savers. It just so happened to be their 100th anniversary year when we created this plan, so we used that as our guideline.

​
During my sophomore year my team and I created another strategic communication plan book for Nissan. The assignment was to create a plan that would engage more African American, Chinese and Hispanic consumers.
